We collect data on our customers when a purchase is made, when they have interactions with our website or when they have provided us with consent to hear from us. The collection of data will be in line with the GDPR legislation. The data controller for GPDR purposes is P Redding.
As a customer, you have the right to access any data we hold for you, you have the right to have your data deleted and you have the right to give expicit consent eg. when you sign up to our newsletters or email responders.
Quilting Smiles will only collect information that is completely relevant to:
- Fulfilling an order
- Booking and/or attending courses or workshops
- Advising customers of forthcoming workshops, new arrivals or promotions
- Sending out occasional newsletters
For the purposes of 1 and 2 we will collect your name, address and method to contact you (telephone/email) and payment details. We will keep this information for 12 months. For the purposes of 3 and 4 we will just collect your name and email address. We never hold and store payment card details. When you interact with our website your IP address may also be temporarily stored.

Cookies are used on our site where they are strictly necessary for the site functionality. They are used to aid navigation, and to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart or wish-list.
